Terms and Conditions

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to purchases on mormorsbreve.dk, operated by ITEBV GmbH, Zehntwerderweg 201A, 13469 Berlin, Germany (Local Court of Berlin-Charlottenburg, HRB 236012 B) (“we”, “us”). By completing a purchase you accept the terms.

2. The service

MormorsBreve is a digital service that uses AI to transcribe old handwriting (including Gothic script) into readable text. The first pages can be tried for free. After that you buy credits: 1 credit = 1 page. The AI result may contain errors and should be checked; for important purposes we offer an expert service.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Danish kroner and include VAT. Payment is made via Stripe (payment cards, MobilePay and others). The amount is charged when you buy credits. You receive a receipt/invoice by email.

4. Conclusion of the agreement

The agreement is binding once you have completed the purchase and we have confirmed it by email. We do not keep the agreement text accessible to you beyond the confirmation sent.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, for digital services delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal lapses once you have expressly consented to delivery beginning and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost. See further details on the page Right of withdrawal.

6. Complaints

The Danish Sale of Goods Act (Købeloven) applies to the purchase. If there is a defect in the service, you can file a complaint. Contact us at st@mes-beratung.de.

7. Limitation of liability

AI transcription is an aid and may contain errors. We are not liable for the consequences of using a transcription without your own checking, including for legal, financial or official purposes.

8. Complaint

Complaints can be directed to us or to the Centre for Complaint Resolution of the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen) via www.forbrug.dk. EU citizens can use ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Governing law

The purchase is governed by Danish law.
